Would you like to help us investigate the declining fortunes of some of Wyedean's best
loved plants and animals?.

Wyedean Wildlife was set up in 2008 by local naturalist and bird ringer Denis Jackson to establish practical projects to investigate the decline of species such as the house sparrow and barn owl in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. We use a variety of research methods to investigate these declines including nest monitoring and bird ringing. We also implement simple, practical conservation projects at a number of sites in the area. There are several ways you can help our work. One of the most important is by keeping a look out for house sparrows with coloured rings on their legs and reporting your sightings to us. To find our more, click "HERE". .
